I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. At this time, I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically located in Florida. This is both a legal and ethical requirement, as my license does not allow me to practice across state lines. If you live outside of Florida, I encourage you to seek a licensed therapist in your own state so that you can receive the support you deserve.

I accept both insurance and private pay, and I am in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Optum, Aetna, and Cigna. If you’re private-pay, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Since out-of-network coverage varies, it’s best to check with your insurance provider to see what benefits you might have.

My standard fee for a 55-minute session is $180.
The No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022) gives private-pay clients the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of your expected therapy costs before starting services. This estimate helps you understand potential expenses up front and protects you from bills that are significantly higher than expected. While I do not provide estimates automatically, they are always available upon request. If your actual charges are $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

Yes. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who may not be able to pay my full fee. A sliding scale simply means that the session fee can be adjusted based on financial need.
These reduced-rate spots are available upon request and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested, please reach out and we can discuss current availability.

All payments are processed securely through my TherapyNotes client portal on the morning of your appointment. Clients using insurance will be charged via the auto-pay feature on the Alma or Headway billing platforms.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows (arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice) incur a $75 fee.

You can request an appointment through my contact form. I also offer free 15-minute phone consultations to see if we’re the right fit.

In our first sessions, we focus on building trust and creating a felt sense of sense of safety, which lays the groundwork for effective therapy. We’ll explore your concerns, set goals together, and work at a pace that feels right for you. Along the way, you’ll also learn about your nervous system and how it shapes your experiences. I sometimes use “parts language” from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help make sense of different aspects of yourself. My approach is collaborative, ensuring you are actively involved in shaping your therapy process.

I work with adults, teens, and emerging adults from BIPOC communities, the global majority, and those living in racialized or politicized bodies. Much of my experience is with first- and second-generation clients, including children of immigrants, particularly within Latino and Latinx communities. I also support LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, identity exploration, and the impact of generational trauma.
-
I am trained in the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM), a compassionate, nervous-system–based approach to substance use and what is often labeled “addiction.” I view ritualized, compulsive, and comfort-seeking behaviors as adaptive survival responses to emotional pain and trauma. My work focuses on restoring safety, connection, and nervous system regulation rather than shaming or pathologizing.
